AWARE Wins the First Battle of The Bands at the Boardwalk
On March 10th, 2024, AWARE competed alongside 6 other bands at The Boardwalk’s very first Battle of The Bands in Orangevale, CA. The band performed three of their originals and one cover song that won the judges over from the first note. It is hard to ignore Stevie’s powerful screams, Brielle’s melodic harmonies, Seth’s thunderous solos, Giulia’s rhythmic thumping, and Jagar holding the beat down. All members brought the energy which helped them be victorious.
With the win also came extra recognition by one of the judges, Mkyi Angeline from the radio station 98 Rock. She invited the band to perform at her One Year Anniversary Show, and also interviewed them on Instagram Live.
Opening For Babylon A.D. at The Whisky A Go Go 7/2/23
The band has a chance of a lifetime when invited to play at the Whisky A Go Go by current B.A.D drummer Dylan Soto. The AWARE lineup included Stevie Vasquez, Seth Willett, Jagar Ballard, and Giulia Pantano. Brielle Wallar joined to sing their last song on the set “Simple”. After that performance she was asked to become a permanent member of the band.
